Mukuru, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Enterprise Sales Representative to join our team in Lusaka, Zambia. This role is critical in expanding our Enterprise Payments solutions across MSMEs, Corporates, NGOs, Supranationals, and Government agencies.
As an Enterprise Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and client acquisition to ongoing relationship management. This position reports to the Enterprise Sales Manager and involves close collaboration with the Sales, Enterprise Operations, and other key internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and qualify leads to expand Mukuru’s Enterprise Payments client base.
- Engage and convert prospects into long-term business clients.
- Monitor industry trends and identify business opportunities, including responding to RFPs and RFQs.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to establish relationships and generate leads.
2. Account Management & Client Success
- Provide exceptional account management to key Enterprise clients.
- Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction.
- Re-engage inactive clients to explore future collaboration opportunities.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, ensuring they maximize Mukuru’s payment solutions.
3. Sales Administration & Reporting
- Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new enterprise clients.
- Maintain accurate sales records, track pipeline progress, and report on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance the client experience.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
✅ 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the remittance and payments industry.
✅ Proficiency in client relationship management and sales reporting.
✅ A strong understanding of enterprise client needs and payment solutions.
✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging clients and stakeholders.
