Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Handling & Warehouse Operations

  • Receive and bin incoming stock as per company procedures.
  • Replenish stock from bulk storage to picking locations.
  • Ensure all stock items are correctly labeled and stored in designated warehouse areas.
  • Assist in stock-taking and inventory checks to ensure accuracy.

2. Order Picking & Packing

  • Accurately pick and pack orders to meet customer and branch requirements.
  • Follow order cut-off times to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Ensure correct bin locations are used, and prevent pack-size breakage when picking bulk orders.
  • Perform double-checks on picked orders to minimize errors and prevent stock loss.

3. Scanner Control & Inventory Management

  • Issue and track warehouse scanners used for inventory management.
  • Inspect scanners for damage and report issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain records of scanner usage and updates on the electronic system.

4. Housekeeping & Safety Compliance

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to ensure a secure workplace.
  • Assist in implementing stock security measures to prevent losses or damage.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
✅ Grade 12 Certificate (Matric) or equivalent literacy and numeracy skills.
✅ At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred).
✅ Basic knowledge of automotive spare parts and warehouse management systems (advantageous).
