The Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB) is a social security institution responsible for compensating workers who suffer occupational accidents or contract diseases in the course of their employment. Our mission is to provide timely and efficient compensation while promoting workplace safety and well-being.
As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are looking for four (4) qualified Drivers to join our team at the Ndola Head Office.
Job Overview
The selected candidates will be responsible for transport logistics, staff mobility, and vehicle maintenance, ensuring seamless operations for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transportation & Logistics
- Provide transportation services for staff, Board members, and official assignments.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods, documents, and other materials.
- Maintain accurate mileage and vehicle repair records.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
- Ensure that Board vehicles are always fueled, clean, and in good condition.
- Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to road traffic regulations and ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Immediately report any accidents or vehicle-related incidents.
3. Administrative Support
- Assist with office errands and official pick-ups when required.
- Complete and maintain vehicle logbooks for every trip undertaken.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to meet operational needs.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
✅ Education:
- Grade 12 Certificate (High School Diploma equivalent).
✅ Experience & Licensing:
- At least two (2) years of professional driving experience.
- Must hold a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) driver’s license for a minimum of two years.
✅ Skills & Attributes:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions accurately.
