About the Organization
The Public Service Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited (SACCO) is a voluntary membership-based organization established in January 2018. Its primary mission is to promote a culture of savings among public service workers while providing accessible and affordable loans.
To support its growth, the SACCO is seeking a Customer Service/Marketing Assistant to join the team in Lusaka.
Job Purpose
The Customer Service/Marketing Assistant will be responsible for:
- Delivering excellent customer service by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth communication with members.
- Implementing marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and growth of SACCO membership.
- Conducting financial literacy programs to educate members on informed financial decision-making.
- Recruiting new members and maintaining an up-to-date membership database.
- Providing timely communication on key SACCO developments.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Engagement
- Respond to member inquiries promptly to ensure smooth information flow.

Marketing & Outreach
- Implement strategic marketing campaigns to attract new members and enhance SACCO’s brand visibility.

Financial Literacy Programs
- Organize and conduct training sessions to promote sound financial decision-making among members.

Membership Recruitment & Retention
- Continuously recruit new members and maintain a comprehensive database for easy access to benefits.

Communication
- Effectively communicate SACCO updates and developments to members.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Full Grade 12/Form 5 Certificate.
Professional Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Customer Service, or Public Relations.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, marketing, or a related field.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to write technical and analytical reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
