Customer & Sales Engagement Specialist (Remote – Africa)

Salary: $7,200 – $12,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated Sales Outreach Specialists to engage potential customers, recover abandoned carts, and drive conversions through strategic communication. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales, customer engagement, and e-commerce growth.

As a Customer & Sales Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in guiding customers through their shopping journey, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring a seamless experience while maximizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to customers via email, SMS, and live chat to encourage purchases.
  • Recover abandoned carts by following up with potential buyers and addressing concerns.
  • Assist customers with product selections, offer recommendations, and promote upsells.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $5/hour base rate plus commissions for outbound sales roles.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales or customer service (phone, email, or chat).

  • Results-driven mindset, with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
