About the Role
G4S Zambia is hiring a Cash Security Manager to oversee security operations and risk management within the Cash Business Unit. This role requires a highly skilled security professional with experience in risk assessment, compliance, and operational security strategies. The selected candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be based in Lusaka.
Key Responsibilities
1. Security & Risk Management
- Develop and implement security policies in line with G4S Global Cash Mandatory Security Principles.
- Identify potential security risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular security audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
- Manage investigations related to security breaches or incidents.
2. Operational Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all security procedures align with group policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee security approval processes for:
- Cash operating limits
- New site designs and renovations
- Armored vehicle acquisitions and upgrades
- Prepare and submit monthly security reports to Group & Zambia Exco.
3. Team Leadership & Training
- Manage and support the Security Compliance Section to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Train and supervise Security Controllers to maintain operational excellence.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance team performance.
4. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict health & safety regulations in accordance with G4S policy and Zambian law.
- Participate in safety forums, meetings, and incident reporting to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols to protect employees and assets.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Education & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Security Management, Risk Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in security operations, risk management, or cash handling security.
- Strong knowledge of cash security best practices, audits, and risk assessment methodologies.
Skills & Competencies:
- Security auditing & risk management expertise
- Investigation & incident response skills
- Conflict resolution & mediation skills
- Strong decision-making under pressure
- Excellent leadership & team management abilities
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.).

- Ability to adapt to changing security challenges.
- Willingness to travel on short notice when required.
